Thanksgiving is the perfect day to speak from the heart. For all of you and your families, it is our hope that all the support and happiness that you have brought to the Highway Transport family will come back to you a hundred fold.

Here’s hoping everyone feels proud of what our company has accomplished this year! There have been many factors that have helped make it one of our best years ever. We started off 2022 with a large pay increase for our professional chemical tanker drivers. Then our company won Responsible Care Carrier Partner of the Year for Outstanding Safety. In April, the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC) recognized Highway Transport driver Tom Frain as the Professional Tank Truck Driver Grand Champion.

Next, our company held a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in Chicago. In September, Dow Chemical gave us special recognition as Carrier of the Year. Our operations team attended Tank Truck Week in Houston where Tom Frain donated his financial gift from NTTC to St. Christopher’s Trucker Relief Fund. In early October, we held a Grand Opening to showcase the newly remodeled Chattanooga Service Center. The Chattanooga event also served as a Responsible Care outreach session, and we connected with many local first responders. In late October, we gathered for our final Town Hall of the year.

Highway’s Chattanooga Service center donated Highway Transport coloring books. The name of the coloring book is “Tanker Truck Super Heroes.” The coloring books and packs of crayons were donated to Rossville Elementary School, and this is a “Thank You” poster from the students.
Thanks to all employees for your increased participation in the Town Halls. What a great feeling of accomplishment when get together and listen to reports about our success. More importantly, this is a time when announce Highway’s NTTC Driver of the Year nominees for next year. For 2023, we are nominating Thomas Mohr and Pamela Randol.

In mid-November, our team attended the Women in Trucking Conference & Expo where the Highway Team connected with over 1,700 attendees.

Now, here we are at Thanksgiving, this special time of year when we gather with our family and friends and all those we hold dear. We here at Highway certainly have a lot to be thankful for! Our future is bright as we look ahead to 2023 and celebrate exceeding our yearly goals. We at Highway Transport wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and we are looking forward to 2023!
