Driver Appreciation

Cookouts

Each year, we try to schedule things so that our Driver Appreciation Cookout takes place at the same time at all locations! Even though we are all very busy at different locations across the US, it is special to know that we are all grilling, eating, and celebrating around the same time! It is a moment of great pride for all employees when we acknowledge our drivers. Our drivers represent the superior level of expertise required for tank driving. Every employee receives gifts, but the best gift of all is the one that our company gives to ourselves...the knowledge that we have the top driving talent in the trucking industry.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is Always in September

Professional truck drivers deliver America's freight safely and securely, every day. This is a wonderful week at all Highway Transport service center locations. Special focus is given to drivers. Highway Transport views this event as a celebration of ALL employees. Every employee is part of the Highway family.

NTDAW Joliet

Joliet: This is a good image of Joe Sheldon and JR captured by Maureen Dennis-Wilbert. JR is a mechanic at Highway Transport’s Joliet Service Center. Every year he takes a vacation day to cook for Driver Appreciation. He devotes his time, money, equipment and Bertha (his grill.) The past 2 years Marshall helped cook; this year Joe Sheldon assisted. Highway Transport would like to officially recognize what JR does every year for this company and the drivers. He’s an amazing guy...and a talented grillmaster.
