Service center locations are constantly upgrading and shifting resources to handle capacity where customers need it most. Be on the lookout for Highway Transport Chemical to open a new terminal location near you.

For 70 years, Highway Transport drivers have operated a sixty-five foot, five-axle chemical tanker truck that carries all sorts of hazardous chemicals throughout the United States. Each driver operates his rig with concern for others. Our tanker drivers are able to navigate Tennessee hills, rarely having to use too much brake but rather, downshifting in such a way as to keep the rig at the appropriate safe driving speed.

A consistent record of safe driving is, in itself, an act of heroism. It takes consistency to do this job right, and our drivers do it right! Our drivers save countless lives with their strong resolve and concentration.

Our tank trailer fleet consists primarily of stainless steel, fully-insulated equipment, inside and out for greater durability and safety.

Tractors are replaced every 48 months to obtain the latest technology to improve safety, reliability and driver environment inside and out.

Having our own shops allows us to keep our finger on the pulse of maintenance and payload. However, having new rigs does not reduce our maintenance efforts. Our fleet performance is based on three major factors: fuel economy, driver comfort and the technical ability of our shop personnel. The new fleet uses the latest equipment technology, and our shop personnel stay abreast of the latest innovations.

With each new fleet, we eliminate approximately 3,400 pounds of unnecessary weight, increasing payload capabilities and sharing cost savings with customers.
